What are you loving?

[“Often life’s pleasures pass us by simply because we don’t take a moment to focus on them… Make a point of noticing everyday something that uplifts your spirit or tickles your heart… Stop to breathe in the joy of this moment and then tell someone about it. Share your joy and revel in it. When your joy is savoured, and then shared, it is magnified…” ROBIN GRILLE]

  1. I had been so busy the last couple of months last Thursday I went on strike, I had a ME day. Curled up on the couch with library books and magazines and read, listened to music. I realised I need to do this more option, just stop, because gosh…it did me a power of good.

  2. Yes, it is great to grow things, every single time. I hope your child feels better.

I am loving watching my veggie seeds pop up through the soil, a slow start to Sunday, the Earth Garden mag, and the fact that my sewing machine is back out again after a long rest.

    Happy Sunday xxoo

  3. Oh crap, the recovery room. Hope all’s ok now.
I’m loving all this rain just as we were about to run out of water.
And a kitchen full of stone fruit being or about to be popped in bottles. x

  4. I love the after trauma smile- it always let me know that the world was back on its axis for my boys.
I love you for sharing your unique vision and your family so freely and lovingly!
And I love skyping with my grandsons and knowing that even if it isn’t perfect, it is still connection.

  5. I’m loving our garden tomatoes and thankful for the hard work put in by my partner. Oh no poor little thing! We’ve been there too. I hope all is okay now. Yes you deserve a little ‘you’ (recovery) time with some good magazines.

    • So true your comments….also the fact that blog writing makes you focus on your own life….true again (Love your blog Tableofcolours )
For me it is also being thankful for memories past, the little everyday happenings, the joy and simplicity that can be so taken for granted if we fail to pause and consider. It doesn’t need huge happenings in our life to focus us, just a moment to pause…like that little child walking along and stopping to look at an ant! x

  6. Your pictures are beautiful, simple but peaceful, a great antidote for the everyday rush and bustle . So true the need to switch off and reflect and recharge…..yes recovery/emergency room traumas and the tired relief after smile, even if only momentary.
