Pedalling through the still darkened streets, I keep my eye towards the dark grey sky. Just a hint of light, I still had a good while to go before the sun nudged itself over the horizon. The air is cold, it hits my face and bare arms. I think for a moment of everyone still sleeping at home, snuggled in. Β A warm bed has been given up for the cold and for the grey. A cup of tea in favour of a bicycle.
A bicycle peddling towards sunlit shores…
Was it worth it?
Every second.

Those moments are full of reward aren’t they? It’s magical, discovering what can be obtained instead of bed and tea – and the best bit is, you still get to return to the tea (if not necessarily the bed!) π Absolutely stunning images xo

It will only get slopped in there anyway Kari π And tea always tastes better if you’ve watched the sunrise beforehand. xx

Gorgeous post, what a lovely bike ride! Making me want to get my bike out of the shed, but would have to be Cotswold hills rather than sea to inspire me.
