The long deep cries of black cockatoos flying overhead, they stop me, I look up, I’m paying attention.

Giggles. Ripples of laughter that start at your belly.

Seeing one of my photos hung on a wall in a exhibition. It was there briefly, but it was there, and I saw it.

Coffee. Good hot, take it slow cup of coffee. I am not a coffee gulper. (I’m especially loving coffee with cardamom and ginger in it at the moment, have you tried it?)

Being a part of the Voices of 2015 top 100. That’s a bit special.

Getting to hang with someone that makes me laugh, makes me think and is always happy to go chasing light.

What are you loving at the moment?

[“Often life’s pleasures pass us by simply because we don’t take a moment to focus on them… Make a point of noticing everyday something that uplifts your spirit or tickles your heart… Stop to breathe in the joy of this moment and then tell someone about it. Share your joy and revel in it. When your joy is savoured, and then shared, it is magnified…” ROBIN GRILLE]

  1. Yay – voices of 2015! Go you 🙂
Cardamon and ginger in coffee? I’m trying that. I’m loving Cardamon and ginger in my chai and my warm as toast fire on this frosty morning.

  2. I’m loving being just back from the Farmers Market (baby beetroot, kumara, potatoes, brussels, apples, zucchini, mandarins, oranges, winter strawberries).

I’m loving that you made Voices of 2015 Brydie!

  3. Congratulations, Brydie! How lovely – and the exhibition too. So much happening. Speaking of brownies and cardamom coffee – what are you doing in December 2016? Wanna hang out?

  4. Loving the power going out on Thursday (a tree fell over the line) and discovering that I can still remember how to play “snap” and “go fish” and that word games can be fun. That food tastes amazing in candlelight and that life goes on. Loving those brownies and raise you two chocolate cakes. AWESOME on the exhibition! NOTHING feels as good as seeing yourself represented on a wall where other people are stopping and looking and talking. We have a pair of black cockies that live on our back bush block acre. They have a baby once every 2 years. It takes them 2 years to raise the last one. I saw them all sitting together in the overgrown hakea trees and the parents were teaching the baby to eat the hakea nuts. They were also teaching their baby to eat the flowers from the protea bush. Lucky I am not precious about my proteas 😉

    • That’s so interesting about the black cockatoo babies. I didn’t know that….and come to think of it I don’t often see the young ones. Such an amazing sound, I really love hearing them and never get tired of it.
As for the exhibition…it’s pretty interesting hanging around your picture, listening to what the crowd of people say as they wander by 🙂

      • You could set up a chair and a glass of wine and listen to the madding crowd. The emptier the bottle got, the more interesting the comments 😉

  5. Congratulations on being part of Voices 2015 – very well deserved. We used to live in Clareville and black cockatoos would visit periodically and perch in the gum trees beside our home. I haven’t seen them for years xx

  6. Love this post, your photos are gorgeous, like flipping through a fancy magazine. 🙂
Loving the delicious cuppa coffee a colleague just made me, the heat pillow on my feet, my beautiful puppy that adores me for me and my new look blog.
    Happy week ahead lovely one.

  7. Love that you are voice of 2015 …and that the voice is such a wise voice .
I am loving that I have remembered to slow down and be creative , loving that lambs might come early this year and I live where people come for holidays (because I used to say to people who live in holiday places ‘wow you are so lucky to live here…’)
Oh and I know this is completely unsustainable and is so materialistic, and won’t work once the world has no electricity anymore and goes against everything I write about …but I love my robot vacuum cleaner because it vacuums while I write .

    • Sorry Kim just clarifying, one of 102 voices for 2015 🙂 But yes, lucky to be in there!
As for your robot, you know for my three this may well be as exciting as all of your farm animals, no seriously, it really would be. Our Dyson excitement only lasted about a day, before the novelty of watching the dust go round wore off.

  8. Catchin’ up on my blog reading after a bit of a screen break. Have missed so many of your beautiful posts Brydie. CONGRATS for being a part of the Voices of 2015 Top 100. So well deserved. Loving your Loving post, especially that magic single word – brownie. Mmmmmm.
