3 reasons why I love our local city park

The monkeys can go ‘exploring’, also looking out for sleeping possums.

Grass. Letting wet grass tickle your toes. Letting your feet reconnect with the earth. In a paved in courtyard this can be sorely missed.

Strange and beautiful plants

  1. Wow, it has quite a lot of vegetation/undergrowth for a ‘city’ park, doesn’t it! What a wonderful place to take your kids, I bet they just love exploring their way through it.

I always enjoy the smell of the damp earth in places like this…(Crazy? Maybe, lol!).

    • Centennial park is amazing. There are so many little nooks and crannies to go exploring. It first opened in 1888 so has a lot of history to it as well. I know what you mean about the damp earth, it just smells good!
