The suburb of Darlinghurst (in Sydney) is one of those delicious suburbs where every where you turn there is something else to see. An afternoon of wandering and it was the colours that were jumping out to me.
Gosh it’s been a while since I saw Darlinghurst, thanks Brydie. Back in the olden days I went to Teachers’ College where Paddo and Darlo meet, a magical part of Sydney both then and now.
I would have loved seeing it back in the ‘olden days’ just as much as now I reckon Rose. Such a great corner of Sydney. Maybe you need a day trip again?
Oh my goodness, I love your photos. I’ve been a bit out of touch on here for a long time now (even thought they still come into my InBox) as I just can’t keep up with my emails but I’ve just taken a quick peak as Darlinghurst is one of my favourite places and you have made my day once again with your stunning take on life and all it has to offer. Thank you!!
Brigitte that’s a gorgeous thing to say thank you. Happy for you to jump on in whenever you have the time and inclination…those email inboxes can quickly get out of control eh.
You instantly transported me to that Paul Kelly song about Darlinghurst but I have never been there in my life. Awesome photography. When are you having an exhibition?
Hi. It’s interesting what you find in “old” inner Sydney. Sometimes it feels a bit forgotten. Great colours, and not a single piece of street art. You definitely have a good eye for seeing the unseen.
