Seeing my work in print in the current edition of the lovely Earth Garden. That’s pretty exciting, I’m not sure that will ever get old for me.

Awesome food baked by someone else. Mind blowingly awesome tastyness (yes, all the wonderful descriptive words are there.) If you are in Newcastle, Baked Uprising is where you might want to go. Oh yes you might. (Cardamom tart, lemon crumble, lemon and white chocolate tart, and sourdough danish.)

Your nautilus bread is amazing Brydie. Lucky little people at your house! Trying to sneak in a bit of cooking creativity here too (enormous jam tarts!) whilst looking after my own unwell little person. Earth Garden looks like a beautiful mag – huge congrats. Nothing more thrilling than seeing your own stuff in print, on paper! Lovely-looking photos.

It’s like smellivision… I’m looking at your gorgeous bread and smelling the baking smells from my oven. Congrats on getting published in Earthgarden. I’m a subscriber so I get it the mail. This month’s magazine is waiting on the lounge room table for me to make the most of a quiet time with a cup of tea. I’ll look forward to reading your article.

I hear ya sista on loving that late afternoon light. Snap (like same-same and also clicky-clicky). What I like about the winter afternoon light is you can’t dilly dally – it’s such a short amount of time you’re playing with. Lone wolf says it’s good for sharpening the hunting instinct 🙂

hehehe, Lone Wolf is right. Dead right. The obelisk shot and the new header was the same afternoon, with the beautiful light. I had a two year old sitting on my back and I was lying on wild fennel (I didn’t know until later) Couldn’t move though as the light, the LIGHT was going to change.

OOOH Bread Fibonacci! I have been too busy helping Stevie-boy install a 10 000 litre rainwater tank to bake but I may have rustled up some delicious coconut cream and kefir lime curry noodles and I may have held the hose for the pressure spray so that Steve didn’t fall off the roof cleaning it, and I may have helped chop a week’s worth of wood for our wintry wasteland that we call home at the moment…now we have waiting of our own, for that water tank to start filling up. What a delicious sound! LERVE that Fibonacci bread (if you hold it up to your ear can you hear the sea?) 🙂 By the way DEAD proud of you for that gorgeous mag shoot, lubbly jubbly stuff ma’am 🙂
