I think…rather a lot. Sometimes probably a little too much, (and some times not often enough) but this week I’ve been thinking about some amazingly talented people, and truly loving the passion that they spread on to others near by.
Loving beautiful books that come in the mail. If Kate’s words and wonderful pictures don’t make you want to go retro caravaning around the place, I don’t know what will. The sweetest, loveliest book.
Loving this music video clip. It makes me smile, it transfixes my little people and makes me happy to say I know this talented man. Live vocal looping is not something that many people have heard of, in a nutshell it’s layer upon layer of music coming from his voice, (not one instrument and all performed live.) Larry T Hill is also pretty amazing for having hitch hiked 28,000km last year around the country, has an upcoming sailing trip to Sri Lanka, and an enthusiasm or passion for life that is pretty much unrivaled. This is the man who helped bumped me into the blogosphere, (and he’s also my cousin-yay!)
Loving Milkwood’s new video. Not a lot else to say except…it’s awesome, and they are awesome, and you’d be mad not to do a course through them if it’s at all possible.

I really admire passionate people too, no matter what their passion! Love foxslane and her new book looks so beautiful – great to read your review of it. Will definitely add it to my ‘must buy’ list.
I admire artisans and makers. There is a building in Melbourne called the Nicholas Building, which houses tiny artist’s studios; incl. a jeweller who casts intricate patterns from sea anemones, a milliner, a shoe-maker, a lady who sells only vintage buttons… So, so inspirational seeing people pursue their creative passions. Love etsy too, for celebrating crafters and makers.

Hi Brydie. Lovely post, Vantastic is great isn’t it? So full of colour and good family stuff. We are having a few internet ‘issues’ as the moment so I am going to watch those video links later. I made your strawberry crumble last night…it was SO good and smelt divine when it was cooking. I just sent the recipe on to my mum!

There are some great loves in here, and a dose of inspiration too (impressive cousin you have!). My inspiration recently comes from people who take time for other people…it makes all the difference I find.

Oh so many great posts…and I have been too busy to read your blog or anyone elses’. I have missed out on some great reading from you and can’t wait to catch up on all your posts.
You asked about inspiring people – I think for a start all the blogs I follow are people who inspire me everyday. But I also feel inspired in particular by Mark and Kate at the Purple Pear Farm ( you can read their blog -Purple Pear Blog) – their ethics and understanding of permaculture just make me want to keep doing what we are doing on our farm but get better at it through the use of permaculture and education. I also love that they get out in the community and educate other people …a little bit liked the’pied pipers of permaculture’.

When is your book coming out? What ever the subject, recipes, vintage goodies, breadmaking, breathtaking photography – get cracking – I want a copy! Or two.
As for inspiring and passionate people – I can’t go past my own husband. He’s extraordinary. As I type at this very moment he’s on the verge of making yet another invention in the world of mineral separation. I think they call it a revolution. Some very excited people at his place of work. Hush, hush secrecy so why his wife is revealing this on your blog is beyond me – hehehehe. I know I can trust you Brydie. Shhhhh.
