there’s a hint of spring in the air
a wattles scent being thrown out into the wind
enough to catch me and stop
hopeful blueberry flowers
delicately sitting on tiny branches
and the punks of the park
they know spring is coming
a hint of it anyway
Great shot of the cocky! Yep, there are little hints of spring tantalising us aren’t there.

I can feel the warmth in the sunshine and I do hope it’s not just a tease. I’m really ready for summer xx

Love that bird picture and the thought of your spring on the way! Though I read it was 29 C in Brisbane the other day, or did I dream that? We are mild and grey now and spotting with rain but full of green grass and seedheads everywhere, particularly in the dogs’ fur 🙂

Sounds about right Joanna. It’s been quite warm lately, and especially so up north.
How are your furry ones doing? Are they doing better?

After winter, the first signs of spring are most welcomed sights. I can’t believe our summer is quickly coming to an end.
