“Often life’s pleasures pass us by simply because we don’t take a moment to focus on them… Make a point of noticing everyday something that uplifts your spirit or tickles your heart… Stop to breathe in the joy of this moment and then tell someone about it. Share your joy and revel in it. When your joy is savoured, and then shared, it is magnified…” ROBIN GRILLE

I’m loving sitting here typing this while precariously balancing my laptop on the edge of my knees as my cat wanted to sit on my lap! This weekend I’ve loved connecting with special people in my life, making gnocchi and creme brulee, sleeping in, pottering around the house and counting my many, many blessings (one of which is your blog Brydie) x

Keri, every part of that sounds wonderful…including dear kitty challenging the lap top for attention. Hope your week is just as good.

I’d love a surprise spelt pikelet afternoon tea too, and as for rain outside when you’re snug inside…nothing better 🙂 That last picture is also wonderful, and definitely one to keep and savour. I wonder how long she’ll maintain the different shoe approach for? I think she could be quite the trendsetter!
I’ve just done my Loving This Week post for June too 🙂 – http://www.bitesizedthoughts.com/2013/06/loving-this-week-june-2013.html

This weekend, I’ve enjoyed spending time with my family, rugging up on an (Australian) winter’s day and sitting outside at a winery with a bonfire (the positives of winter!); having a relaxing day to catch up on some blogging and cooking for the week ahead. 🙂

Ali that sounds wonderful. There is something quite mesmerising about a bonfire in winter. Hope you have a wonderful week.

Lovely post, I really enjoy these. I adore your daughter’s shoe selection – long may it continue! And I think everyone will agree that rain outside when you don’t have to go out in it is a wonderful feeling 🙂

oh that photo of the two shoes at the end made me smile because I sent sylvia to kinder with two odd boots last week because it was the path of least resistance – wish I could get away with such kooky dressing as kids do
we are also very into pikelets lately and home made focaccia and smoothies

I love your daughter’s shoes! How gorgeous. I used to let my daughter dress herself and we’d head to the shops with her looking like no one cared for her but she was perfectly happy and thought she was the height of fashion xx
