Such a happy colour. We are spending our Sunday listening to little cheeps from beneath our mother hens’ wings, and waiting for the little fluffballs to emerge. Such a nice way to spend the last day of holidays!

Yesterday my first loaf of full sourdough in a UK winter turned out a lot better than I expected.
Today I ran in a 10k race and came tenth. A very happy man.

I made a bit of a mistake with the order dates and the oven is arriving next Saturday. I gave the old oven a send off with a lovely loaf of sourdough.
