New discoveries…
New legs to walk on, and walk she does. At ten months and four days she said, whoooshka! Lets go, lets get busy…and hasn’t looked back.
New magnifying glasses for the boys, show little critters can become big critters at the right angle. There are a lot of new little things to discover.
Holiday time and park mornings are spent exploring. It can be hard work and they need lots of healthy energy giving snacks.
I’ve posted these balls before (here) but have changed around the ingredients a little. My new discovery of the deliciousness of dark agave nectar, was a lovely surprise. I would use it sparingly due to the food miles on it, but it is a wonderful alternative to sugar or honey.
These ingredients are just a rough guide, use whatever you have on hand and like to add to the mix.
Agave is wonderful, isn’t it? I use it often for Peder. And look at her go …. What darling children. 🙂

I like it Misky, I really do. There was a moment when I considered drinking it straight from the bottle but I stopped myself and dignity is still in check.

I love the photo of your daughter running on the grass. Walking at 10 months is very early – only one of mine, my third too, did that but my sister’s children were almost two before they walked! The balls would be tasty and so very good for you xx

It’s funny to think how different little ones can be isn’t it. I’ve got friends kids that were closer to two as well. Funny little imps 🙂

She does keep me busy Heidi, although she keeps herself even busier! She found a squirming grub the other day and was half a second away from sampling it for lunch. Eww.

I’m stunned to see your baby walking already…where does the time go? Such beautiful children, and all the green grass and flowers make me long for spring here. Soon enough, I guess! I have some dark agave in the fridge and this would be a perfect way to use some…bookmarked!
